The stripper who charges she was raped by Duke University lacrosse players is so traumatized she sometimes screams at the sight of white men in the street, a new report says. The accuser is staying with friends and only occasionally calls relatives, amid threats from Duke supporters and white supremacists, Essence magazine reported.

"I know she feels alone," the woman's ex-husband told Essence. "She doesn't know who to trust. That's why she's running."

Meanwhile, a lawyer for one of two Duke lacrosse players charged in the rape demanded that prosecutors turn over the accuser's medical, legal and education records for use in attacking her credibility.

When the woman does call family members, she sounds frightened and refuses to let them contact her, relatives said.

"Nobody has seen her. She needs some help," the woman's aunt told the magazine. "That girl needs some professional help."

The stripper, a student at a mostly black college in Durham, N.C., where Duke is also located, told police that three white Duke players raped her during a wild off-campus party March 13.

She's not talking to anyone because she's afraid they will discover her lie. I think she's beginning to realize that this is not a small lie and the Duke students are not the only ones that will be hurt by it. She's going down too.

All these people are in the news this week, and we must ask ourselves, "What is the common denominator?".
No. Not skin color. The correct answer is the ever-loving "race card" syndrome. They can do or say anything and not be held accountable.

Tiger Woods is half Asian. Is that the skin color that is "keeping him out...". Tiger's mom is Thai, his wife is Scandanavian, and his dad married an Asian woman. Tiger has about as much experience with "black suffering" as I do.

The 15th is also the very day that the 2 indicted must appear in court. Will it be before or after the DNA results are in. I guess that will depend on what the results are, either way to the advantage of Nifong. Doesn't sound like a search for the truth to me.

Believe or not there are still country clubs that do not allow blacks- they are private organizations and it is their right to allow who they want inside their club, so he is telling the truth.

The election is May 2, one day after the grand jury meets again and almost two weeks before the next hearing. Even if Nifong is defeated, I believe he would stay on the job for months, maybe even until January, someone from NC please confirm, when would a new DA be sworn in? Judging by his actions to harass these players by reactivating some of their charges, he could cause a lot of damage even as a lame duck.

I know some really old line clubs and they changed the by-laws years ago. Can you name one country club in America which still has racial restrictions? I know of a number of clubs that have no black members--but there is no rule against black members and one of the old line club has considered extending a couple of discounted memberships to prominent black men to remove even the remant of prior racism. Of course I live in Ohio and maybe this is still going on somewhere else, but I'd really like to get some hard facts like the name of the club with racial restrictions.

I read this, and while I have not seen what is going on, it almost sounds like she is de-toxing based on this. I watched someone do that once, and it is not pretty.
