No, at the time Bill Clinton wasn't quite yet Notorious Big. and she had a legitimate bit of political lobbying to be had as a businesswoman with her State AG. She had some reasonable expectation of a more refined character than some white face Gangsta. Her judgement could have been better, but it is a world of difference -- or used to be, maybe -- between asking the State's highest law enforcement official to your hotel room to discuss policy matters, and asking NC State's lowest street trash to your boy's club house to strip and dance in a most lewd manner (and without male escort-bouncer). Is that distinction understandable enough to you?
