No, it's not. You are equating this guy as President Bush. The makers said on Rush's show that he is more like a Nixon, instead of Bush. I see him more as a Lyndon Johnson, unless it is found he really does have the country's interest at heart.

Not at all. President Bush would never be as wimpy as Logan, even if he were the puppet of some shadowy corporate cabal. It just seemed a little over-the-top to have the POTUS be one of the bad-guys.
It's a story; make-believe - and this plot twist just seems a little too easy and "jump-the-sharkish" to me. That's all. Anyone that equates events on 24 to real life events is just silly, IMO.
