Haven't read the whole thread yet so don't know if this has been mentioned ... but talk show host Hugh Hewitt joked that Jack Bauer would be a great replacement for Scott McClellan as Bush's press secretary. My husband and I have cracked ourselves up over this about a dozen times since then. We picture Bauer with his face about half an inch away from the face of, say, David Gregory or Helen Thomas, and booming: YOU DON'T WANT TO ASK THAT QUESION! Or accosting a cameraman while screaming, HOLSTER YOUR CAMERA!
