Plus, the lacrosse coach was warned to keep his players under control by the administration in the excellent Newsweek piece this week. Frankly, I think that that warning and the fact that the players weren't reigned in was telling.

Hmmmm. I didn't see the word "investigate" in any form on the page you linked. They taught you to read in college, right?
Seriously, read it again. Telling the coach to keep an eye on his players is not the same as having them investigated.
