OK, GUYS, LET'S S ROLL!!
I thought Maybe a good way to begin tonight's discussions would be for us to share about some of the best pranks and jokes that we either played on someone,(or someone played on us) when we were younger(or nowadays, for that matter)
Also, we could share about some of the crazy things we used to do, when we were younger(or perhaps still do) that were seen as fun at the time, but look foolhardy to us today.
I'll start things off, and share about one thing I did about 20 years or so ago, when I was 18-19. I would go on little "scenic routes" as I used to call them. (keep in mind that in 1986-87 gas was WAY less than $1.00 a gallon). Now, I did not just drive around aimlessly, but I had a friend named Paul with me. And Paul was a LOT more daring than I!! while I drove, Paul tossed bottles, cans, eggs and fireworks out of the car, mainly at road signs, but also at a few mailboxes. I egged him on, and thought it was a LOT of fun!! Paul conned me into believing that I was not doing anything wrong, since I was "just driving". (I just have to chalk that up to youthful stupidity...) In reality, I would had been the ONLY one to get into trouble had we been caught, because PAUL WAS ON HOUSE ARREST at the time, for a B&E that he and some others had been involved in , AND he was only 17!! SO, had we gotten caught,(and in early '87 we ALMOST did!!) I would had gotten the book thrown at me, for vandalism, littering, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and who knows what else!!
I'll reserve the stories about me messing with gunpowder, acid, gasoline, lighter fluid and fireworks for another time!!! (He....He... He..)
SO... Does anyone else care to share anything(that the statue of limitations has expired on !!) LOL!!

Hi, wow, just popped back in. If I may suggest...
Possibly phone the Dispatcher of your Highway Patrol, ask them to cruise the area where they broke down. Try finding a business line in the phone book, otherwise go for the 911.
And a prayer:
Lord, You are God and I pray for the safety of Max's husband and his associate right now and their convenience in repairing or towing their car, in Jesus' Name, amen.

Hope hubby makes it home w/o further problems. Perhaps this will all reinforce my last FReepmail to you. Lots of signs?

I remember reading something about that for politics a few weeks ago...
Kinda interesting and creepy at the same time. ;)

This is true, and I agree it is overused with astounding frequency...
But some do qualify (e.g. Senator Chaffee, the party leadership in Wisconsin, etc.)

Hi-de-ho, everyone! Out late last night, and just getting up and about. Anyone here?
I'm not much of a practical joker, even though I have been blamed for doing lots of stuff. I'm told it's because I just seem so "mischievious" that I've gotta be up to something.
We had a lady at work who was a major animal rights person, and she posted a flyer in our breakroom about a be kind to animals faire, or something like that. Next to it, someone from our office (not me!) had posted a picture of a big, juicy, yummy Big Mac. She came right to me and asked me if I'd done it, and I told her no, but that I thought it was hilarious! To this day I'm sure she thinks I was the one.

I have no complaints about calling Chaffee a RINO. I have no idea why he still claims he's a Republican. He's just completely worthless.

Same here.
But so is our Republican Party leadership here in WI...
Can't find anyone other than Bob Lorge (who's a Nutt in every sense of the word) to run against Sen. Kohl (aka Herbie, Nobody's Senator, Senile Kohl). And they don't really seem to care, either.
Looks like Wisconsin will be sending Kohl back for another six hears :(

I don't know anything about the Republican party in Wisconsin so I'll take your word for that one. I don't know what it is about incumbents but my state kept sending Hollings back to the Senate despite the fact that SC is a REALLY red state. I guess some people really don't like change.

I realize this state has an unwritten tradition of sending back senators, regardless of party.
But the fact that Herb's vulnerable and the RINOs runing the state Republican party don't care has a lot of state conservatives angry.
but my state kept sending Hollings back to the Senate
As in Fritz Hollings, the guy who introduced the Senate bill to restart the draft? Unnngh!!

Yep, that one. I'm just glad he retired. We would've kept sending him back until he died if he hadn't. I don't know what my fellow South Carolinians were thinking.
