I'm glad to see the dog made it home but I happened to notice from the article that the dog escaped before. The owner didn't learn a lesson that time so too bad the dog had to suffer through this ordeal. Pits are notorious escape artists. Maybe if the owner say this she would learn what can happen to animals that suffer because of human stupidity.
Maybe if she saw this she would be a little more responsible with her pets, especially since they were rescues.
