I'm going to put the computer innards I already have (motherboard, processor, drives, video card) in there

But,but,but...aren't those some of things that got burned up? I am such a computer illiterate.

I'm hoping that it's just the power source that got fried.

If it doesn't work with a new power source, then I guess I need a new motherboard and maybe processor. I can't decide whether to find a board to work with my processor or just replace both. The 'puter is between 4 and 5 years old but worked well enough for me. :)
