I've always liked the S&W M625, a tricked-out N-frame in stainless. I have my doubts about all the large Smiths in titanium and aluminum. The thought of firing a 18-ounce .44 Mag makes me wince, and kicks up my carpal tunnel.
My one wish in a revolver would be a 5-shot .45ACP snubbie on a Smith L-frame with a minimal grip. It would have to be in stainless, to give it enough mass so I didn't become gun-shy firing it.
My old shooting partner has a SW S/S Mountain Gun in .45LC; It's a fine shootin' iron. Pleasant to shoot and very well balanced. I like the pacs on it, he prefers reworking wood grips.
