JenB, her sister and I went shooting yesterday. I took off a little early from work and we raided the toy store. The girls got to see lots of nifty toys and then I bought Jen one of these:
Well technically that is not legal so it is really mine until the wedding. It is the new model compact 10/22. It has a shorter stock and a the nice fiber optic sights.
Much fun was had as we corrupted another of her family to the joys of putting small holes in things from a distance.
Had a good MoveMoot. Her stuff is all here and mostly in good places. There are a couple items that need to go to the basement but other than that the place is looking better than ever.
They headed east this morning. It is a 12 hour run so I would not expect her to be on tonight but she might be. No, sorry, we forgot to get pictures. And all the witnesses are paid off.

I'm just sayin' is all.

The test of a good marriage will be whether you'd buy her another gun for a first anniversary :~D

Evening Talon; excellent choice in riflery. The 10-22 is a classic that has stood the test of time. I plan to investigate the fiber optic sights, I've heard good things about them (especially for 'over 40' eyes).
Looks like Jen is getting ready for Shootmoot II. Congrats.
