Turns out the receipt says 15 days. Do you think there's ANY chance they'd help me anyway?

If you're not getting the service they promised they HAVE to help you. If they say "no" in the store ask them "then can you give me the name of the person that can say yes."
If it helps, have Hair and ecurbh sit out front and clean their shotguns while you're in the store.
But seriously, "no" is not an acceptable answer.
