Back from my travels. Went to two garage sales and panned a third...looked like absolutely nothing but baby stuff and it wasn't easy to park near.

The lawn mowers were both just the push type...for as much land as I've got, I wasn't sure that'd cut it. Maybe I need more edummication on mowers before I spend anything, even at a garage sale.

Did get a ton of flower pots for fifty cents, though. And some clothes from Value Village.

You mean the old time non-powered type?

If you find a lawnmower at a garage sale for a good price ($50-$100) ask them to start it... if it runs, it's a good deal. Self propelled would be nice, but not really ~necessary~ for a gal in good health with a flat piece of ground :~D I'd expect larger powered self propelled ones in the $100 range, older or un-propelled ones in the $50 range.
