New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

It's just a happy plant in general! It's what made me want it in the first place.

Welcome to the Hobbit Hole Thread!

They are pretty! I like 'em. So they only bloom a short while?
I have two kinds of flowers in the back I can't identify...if it isn't raining this afternoon, maybe I can post pictures.
Plums probably. We're not warm enough for apricots, but plums are common enough.
Ramius has a plum tree in the yard at the beach house... not that he'd know that :~D
Yeah, I planted them about a month ago and they looked really nice. So I've been waiting for them to rebloom.
Maybe I'll just throw 'em on the compost heap and one day be surprised when the grow up somewhere.

ROFL!
They have the same kind of cleavage in them like an apricot :~)
Mornin' folkses...

Could be plums I spose. But don't plums start out purple and pretty much stay that way? Dunno, but these are starting out green.
Got the flag up at thenewhouse. :-)
Happy Flag Day!
[Darn, and I forgot to send out my flag day cards.]
Hehehe... you said 'cleavage'. ;~D
So...we're back on "boobs" again, are we? ;-)

Pics? :-)
They start out green. :~)
That's more butt than boob.
Buttfruit?
cleavage sounded like a more attractive descriptor on food than butt-crack :~D
Well... if they start out green, then this is probably a plum tree. I found a horticulture site and compared the leaves, and the leaves are definitely plummish.
