I've been meaning to have my brother and sister-in-law down one Tuesday since he has Tuesday/Wednesday off, but I've been putting it off. Today he called and more or less invited himself over, and I said OK because I was supposed to get off at four. Didn't get off until close to five-thirty, I'm NOT ready for company, and I have the sinking feeling they'll be early.
Granted, if I was always ready for company, this wouldn't be an issue. But...I'm not.
I think there's a conspiracy that doesn't want my sister-in-law to ever see me at much better than my worst...
Oh, gosh... I hope it went off ok, but they are family and they should understand "I got held up at work late".
Well ready or not, I see they're there! :~D
ecurbh and I have been in isolation, finishing up the LOST DVDs.
Ruthy! The next season isn't out on DVD till October! GAH!

Visitors gone? How was the visit?
Visitors gone, by the way. Went pretty well, for the most part...though I do need a real bathroom door eventually. ;-) We managed.
Cisco stayed outside for the most part. He's just a bit too enthusiastic for company. *sigh*
oh yeah :~).....
I ended up picking up breads and cheese and a bag of dipping vegetables on the way home and made a really quick sour cream dip for 'em...so that's what we did for dinner, with wine and/or beer. Worked pretty nicely...just stuff to pick on while talking.
I was *intending* to have 'em down tomorrow, and planned to go to Fred Meyer this evening to see if they had a fairly inexpensive curtain and rod I could use for now, but I didn't have time.
Well, let's see if we can just hang it swinging the other way. before we resort to the curtain.
