Heh...
We went out to the garden to look at the tomatoes and herbs my sister planted. Mr. DarcyCat and Miss Emily came out of hiding to join us. Apparently, The Kitties like humans in the garden. Miss Emily, for some reason, likes rolling in the thyme as well as the catnip.

I think something is about to happen.
I walked out on the deck with my coffee, standing there admiring the morning. There was maybe a dozen seagulls standing on the handrails leading to the dock. Then I looked down the way, and there's maybe twice as many seagulls on my neighbor's dock. And more on a float for another neighbor. They're not making any noise, just standing there like they're waiting for something.
They're all facing the same direction. East.
I know they'll tend to face into the wind, but there's no wind. It's like they're watching the sun come up, but most of them are in the shade.
They're waiting for something. Something coming from the east.
It's creeping me out. [sip]
