When do you think she'll give birth?
I just hope this little thing can safely birth these kittens and they're all healthy. She needed to find someplace to do this that was better than where ever she's been.... might as well be here, I guess.
It will be kinda fun, if it goes well :~D
I have no idea. :~D Hopefully we'll get an idea tomorrow at the vet.
Yeah, catching a flight to Raleigh tomorrow morning. I'm going through cat withdrawal.
Wish it was bunny widrawal.
Just fed my two fuzzballs. The one is as petite and as ladylike as can be. The other is a tubby tabby who weighs more than the sack of catfood.
One of the seven afore'mentioned had a litter. But because she was raised by me and not a proper momma cat, she didn't get the lesson on "what to do when the time arrives". *That* was an interesting experience 'cuz I didn't know what to do either!
I can loan you a chipmunk to keep you company.
Somethin' et one of muh corn plants. I figger it was the chipmunk. And, I'm missing a basil plant. Would a critter have eaten that (and left the tomato plants?)
This afternoon I found two of my okra chomped and the tops just laying on the ground, one marigold chomped, and two fern fronds chomped and left on the ground.
Yep, I also found some vinca dug up.
Speaking of such...my corn and cukes and herbs are up! One punkin plant, too.
Least SOME things like the rain...
I've got pumkings coming up too.
Don't worry, the bunnies will make themselves at home.
The chipmunk wanted basil on his corn. Seems reasonable to me.
I've been trying to call in votes for Taylor Hicks on American Idol, but I can't get thru.
Guess that means I shouldn't worry. He's getting plenty of votes. :-)
After searching for over three years, I finally was able to snag a GI Steiner 7x50 set with the "shoot me now" anti-laser coating. BUT, I had already bought the ARD (antireflective device) "kilflash" filters, since that is another item that's hard to find.
This is a big, honkin' set of glass, made even bigger with the filters on.
Here's a view with, and without, the kilflash. The reflective coating is greenish, except from the side, where it looks pink. It's highly mirrored, as you can see. The view through the glass is decidedly pink.
The ARD is a plastic honeycomb structure, about 1/16th inch deep. It shades the lens, and blocks view of the glass from any angle except almost exactly along the optical axis. While it cuts down the luminosity of the image by about 10%, it sharpens the picture, and prevents you from becoming sniper bait.
This is a key addition to my modest collection, and brings it technologically into the 1980s. And it's just neat.
I was willing to forgive Fox for canning Elliott...if Miles had suffered a painful death...
Heh...I hadn't even noticed the basil plant gone (I planted three) until I took Luke down yesterday to show him the pumkins coming up.
And I noticed the 'maters need more dirt...
I think my cherry 'maters need more dirt.
The "window box" Romas look healthy as anything. So there's that.
