Well, if you want we can go haul a half-yard of gravel for the front fairly early this morning. They probably open at nine... any fill rocks, debris or dirt you can put in that hole will make the gravel you have to buy go further.
If you want the thing, why do you keep throwing it away?! :~D
Welcome to the 'bunnies in the garden club'. We get at least one, sometimes two dens each year, usually in the bed nearest the back corner. The back corner is now the fern garden, we'll probably get one there too.
LOL, seems to be a reasonable question, she probably thinks that way.
Off on another adventure, this time to the paint store.
BBL
Well, Zulu was that way... she'd bring it back once, to great praise. When I threw it again, she'd give me a quizzical look like my behavior made no sense whatsoever.
I should be ready to go in a half hour or so...so that'd work.
I need to go to the feed store at some point to day...out of cat food, low on dog food, and I should get some more grass seed, I'm thinkin'. That and possibly a small cedar post I could chop up for corners, if I get the boards.
Humans! *shakes head*
They're just plum *weird*!
A treated 4x4 would be good for the corners... and I don't think the feed store has those... but Ace does. Get a bag of fairly hurky nails too.
If we cut a 4x4 and made the box corner by nailing the boards to it, that'd work nicely, and, theoretically if we don't fasten it to the ground, it ~could be~ moved later if you decide it's in the wrong place.
Doing the math, if you use a 12 inch section for each corner, one 8 foot post would give you eight corners. Then we can look and see if it needs stiffening at the halfway point... with something on the outside - you know.. if you have more of these boards than you know what to do with, we could just double them up to make it a little stronger.
This is all assuming those boards aren't already gone...or that they don't insist on their full price, which'd be seventy bucks or so for just the six footers.
I guess worst case...I'll offer to take 32, which would be enough to double up on two beds, *or* give me a bunch left over to use. That'd be forty, and I imagine I could talk 'em down to thirty or thirty five.
I bet he'd rather throw in the rest of them than be left with just a few - just my guess :~D
Well, lets do this... lets do the gravel so the front can be cleaned up. And depending on the boards, we can maybe haul dirt later. You need a half yard or so of dirt in the back. Then if you have energy left, we can go get those boards.
We'll do this today, tomorrow, we ride :~D
Ride! Ride for ruin - and a red dawn!
Oh...wait...that may not be a great idea.
But your ideas sound good. ;-)
Heh...
We go out with a little less fanfare than all that :~D
No death chants, then? ;-)
Kitties are getting chopped grilled chicken for breakfast since I'm totally out of food - meant to get some on the way home last night.
They're pleased...Cisco isn't.
It was digging out right in front of the kitchen window if you please....right in front of me!
I brought back some chicken wire from Home Depot.
Sounds like a plan, how many chickens are you going to get? Fresh eggesses. :-)
Well, I called a place by the airport for gravel.... $9.99 for a half yard... I'm gonna come over in a bit and look at your spot.
