I've already told my family the same thing. But since I'm leaving TVs and such, I don't think they'll mind.

My folks are actually coming out and hauling a trailer for me (!) which is way, way above and beyond, IMO. But they offered and I am thrilled, it means I can take the furniture and not have to spend $500 to ship my books. They're arriving tonight and we load up tomorrow morning early.

I think Dad just wants to make sure there's no hanky panky going on with the moving in.

It sure is... they're bringing my older little sister along to ride with me, I'm planning to stay in IA until Tuesday so she is the designated chaperone. Heh. Wish it was the younger little sister because she's easily distracted.
