Sunrise is in Broward County and it's densely populated, for the most part. I'd expect something like this to happen in the Everglades, but not in a canal on the side of a major road!

Yeah, being eaten by an alligator is not high on my list of ways to go. Actually, not much is, guess I'll have to live forever.

Working on cleaning/last bit of packing here. I'm doing it in small manageable chunks rather than trying to attack the whole place at once.

How's the move coming along?

Slowly... movers will be in tomorrow morning to move furniture, then we'll spend the rest of Saturday and probably Sunday moving boxes and the rest of it.

I'm getting to the point of just telling our landlord, "You can keep what's left, sell it if you want..."
