Mmmm...fridge. I wuv my fridge.
It'd probably drop more if I didn't have lights on outside all night, but that's probably worth the trade-off.
Oh man, I remember how miserable you were last summer, and it never got very hot. I hope you get some big fans or something soon.
I don't do heat.
Luckily, it's rather pleasant outside. Granted, there will be extra hot days, but I think it'll be bearable.
I still need screens and fans, though.
I use the word "need" a lot lately - lawn mower, tools, shed, screens, grill, work clothes... And I guess most of the things are icing on the cake...but they're nice to have!
Heck, yeah... I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of things I "need" this summer. Mostly wardrobe related. You know I haven't bought any clothing since I went discount shopping over Christmas? And at the very least I need new socks.
Evenin' folkses...
Dead thread? Anybody home?
She's such a big oaf... not the sharpest knife in the drawer...
That dog just looks like she's built to a different scale.
Wrong scale, and she's just a pup... she'll probably still gain another Cisco. :~D
She mostly seemed totally bewildered by this little black and white dog who was just tearing around her in circles...didn't play a lot.
I said they reminded me of the dogs from the old cartoons - the zippy little one and the huge slow one. If you know what I mean?
Yup, although Cisco's kinda big to be the zippy little dog.
Dare I hope Mr. Beepy give me an entire Friday night in peae and quiet? I think I do...
He's not being very zippy at the moment, either. He's flat out on his back and snoring.
Good Morning, sip, not much rain here but enough to put gardening on hold for a bit, we can see that G'nad apparently got his share as well as ours. Well, many indoor projects await our efforts today. sip.
mmmmmmm....snoring...
Decided not to bother with ~either~ yard sale. thePool didn't advertise or even put up signs until yesterday afternoon, so they won't get much traffic. Couldn't find the contact for theschool. So we'll put the big stuff on craigslist and take the smaller stuff to Goodwill.
I got to get movin' on that, but I'm havin' muh coffee.
Prom was ~interesting~. We went to the wine tasting and then dinner (mmmm...Carrabbas...) and then to theprom. Found out when we got there that Mrs. was ~supposed~ to be asked to chaperone. But the girl that was supposed to ask teachers to chaperon ~and~ invite all the teachers...didn't.
And I guess it was more interesting 'cause these were homeschool kids who have had ballroom dancing. I've never seen anyone waltz to "Thriller" before...
Prom theme was "Arabian Nights." One parental unit showed up in full costume. Wife rightly stated that if we had done that to Jr. he'd be in therapy for years.
~sip~
It turned out really really good.
It called for three eggs and I amazingly had one egg from each of the girls. As I'd drop the egg in, we'd all say "Good ol' Jar jar!" and so on. It was a very light-hearted memorial service! Heh!
When it was done, Steve took a bite and sat there chewing it for while, then said "It's good...a great tribute."
I made mine in a 9x11 inch pyrex pan. It collapsed just a bit in the middle.
We got a lovely storm in the night...none of it has been to violent...just beautiful beautiful heavy rains...supposed to keep at it for today too.
Steve's at the office working on the (please God let this be the) Final Draft. He said he wouldn't be long...till after lunch sometime.
It's a bit soggy here....standing water in theyard. Guess I shoulda done those rain gardens after all. Your ferns look happy, though.
At least the rabbits are wet.
I wish the chipmunks were wet...
Morning, sip, back from thewalk, kinda misty, hoping for a bit more rain. We've got a Carrabas not too far from us, will have to try it someday.
Someone cut down the flag at the Park Dept. We picked it up, folded it up and put in the bench, a bit surprised that no one had stopped to do it, well, it's done now.
Heh, those ferns transplant real good. :-) hmmm. rain gardens, or wetlands, depending on your point of view.
I've put this off far too long...time to get to work...
Us too - gotta go over and feed Tiff's horses.... then get some breakfast.
Good morning :~D
