New York cops are being prevented from doing their job by the politically correct NY state government. I'll bet a lot of them are grimly counting the days until they can retire. Moving to a PD in another state is an undesirable option since they'd lose all of their seniority. Most cops elect to grit their teeth and hang on (according to my brother-in-law, a deputy sheriff).

...the killing was not racially motivated even though one of the suspects was heard screaming "get the white boy!" The NYPD spokesperson said the case was being treated as a robbery, not a hate crime.

Um...yeah, "white boy" is... uh... a new hip-hop term for... cocaine... I mean money... yeah that's it.

Or they really said "get some money for white milk, not that chocolate stuff Ray Nagin was talking about."
