If I am not mistaken, the defense said that according to the DNA results there was no evidence that she had even had sex recently.
Yeah, there seem to be conflicting statements. I realize the defense will have their statements, but I seem to recall that it is the prosecution which is touting the examination which showed injuries consistent with rape trauma. What I am wondering is if she got the cuts and bruises and "trauma" elsewhere, and cleaned up somewhat before going to the party. Thatway, she might have injuries consistent with trauma, but no DNA.
