Case against at least one Duke defemdant unraveling fast.

Defendant Seiligman went to bank ATM while rape supposedly happening.

12:02 Time stamped photos show girl arriving. Girl leaves, comes back, call friends on cell phone does other things. 12:19 Seiligman calls cab dispatcher 12:24 Seiligman takes cab to bank miles away, uses ATM card (photos show it is him.) 12:42 after walking back to dorm, Seiligman uses security card to enter dorm. Does not leave.

Also, Seiligman was never interviewed by cops. DA seeking reelection simply took "Dancers" word that he raped her.

If the BF was acting as a quasi-pimp, or was just a punk, it is quite possible that he was responsible for the bruises that were already visible on the woman before the alleged rape occurred, as well as for any DNA or semen found in/on her. Other bruises, scratches, could have easily been caused by her fall on the porch. Was the BF ever tested for anything? Was the porch tested for signs that the woman had fallen there, or been cut by the door on her way out? Failure to test these things would, I think, be another case of prosecutorial incompetence.

He also could have just as well been disgusted about it and was leaving. Could have been he wanted to let his girlfriend know what was going on, that he disapproved of it, and was leaving. Would sure make any future discussions about what happened a lot easier. If this is what happened, she'd be a fook to let this guy get away. He wouild be a real keeper.

1) She was so out of it after the dance and she was with Kim the whole time, presumably.

2) That would be why she showed up late.

3) It could be why she was missing nails before the dance and why she was bruised around her legs too.

I'm pretty sure that since this "protect the victim stuff" started people have gotten the idea that it's somehow illegal to know and talk about who is the rape victim. It's a matter of policy for most newspapers to not release the name and it may be a law and/or policy for the police to not release the name, but I can't imagine it's illegal for an average citizen who can identify the victim through unrelated means to talk about the victim and/or pass around her name or photo.

My guess would be that either the first or second call would have been to the cab company. First call to GF - can you give me a ride, or can I come over? No, buzz off, bozo. Second call to cab, third and fourth to try to patch up with GF. It usually takes about ten minutes for a cab to show up, if not longer.
