Breaking overnight from Chris Cummo at ABC GMA:
Case against at least one Duke defemdant unraveling fast.
Defendant Seiligman went to bank ATM while rape supposedly happening.
12:02 Time stamped photos show girl arriving. Girl leaves, comes back, call friends on cell phone does other things. 12:19 Seiligman calls cab dispatcher 12:24 Seiligman takes cab to bank miles away, uses ATM card (photos show it is him.) 12:42 after walking back to dorm, Seiligman uses security card to enter dorm. Does not leave.
Also, Seiligman was never interviewed by cops. DA seeking reelection simply took "Dancers" word that he raped her.
Yesterday morning the morning crew went live to Rita in front of the jail for a report. She mentioned that the accuser had a history of alcohol problems, according to her family, and then said Kim also had some previous legal issues. I'm sure the defense team has a dossier on both women and taped their "extensive interview" with Kim.
I hope there's video of Kim slapping a "client" at the party as one of the pictures is said to show, and audio of her parting comments about "their manhood".
I've discussed this before. There is no excuse for the police to not have done this long ago, but I don't think they're going to do it. That leaves it to the defense. Here's what they can do: they can try to get him to cooperate, which he probably won't do. So, then they're going to have to threaten to subpoena his merchant credit card account, which is going to expose who his customers were that day so they can be questioned. There is no way this pimp is going to let that happen, so he's going to tell them what they want to know - how many dates she had earlier that day, how they paid, and who they were.
I would hope that the testing dates of each of the samples would be noted by the company performing the tests, as well as when each sample was given. A defense attorney could surely make some holes in the prosecution's case with testing dates. I have no doubt that the defense will be able to get these boys off, but it is surely a sad state of affairs when a case like this is allowed to proceed this long.
I can't imagine the DPD aren't familiar with them.
They probably did that before they questioned her.
I wonder if she's changing her story because she's been promised a payday, too, from Mangum's handlers.
I have fantasies of all of us here going to Durham, spreading out, and following all the leads to get the info to the defense. LOL (We could do it too!)
As I said before, the defense has already said that they have her on tape in several interviews and she's contradicting herself.
I guess there's no way to capture all the ways in which Kim has changed her story. I was just looking at google and don't see much.
I heard that interview with Rita. She said, "In fact, she has had numerous problems with alcohol."
Oh, I'm not saying that it is a great policy, but apprently it has been in place for long time and the administration was only following it.
They probably won't get their tuition back though. I cannot stop shaking my head when reading about this case. Pretty much everything about it stinks.
He also said none of this stuff about her being slutty is true, either. But this is from the dude she was married to while she got preganant by some other guy, so yeah, she's not slutty in his mind. Of course, given the culture of his ethnic persuasion, that may actually be a truism. 70% of their kids are born out of wedlock.

This has nothing to do with the alleged rape, but I'm curious about who was watching her two kids while she was out. Does she live with her dad?
ROTFL, serious belly laughs. Anyone who has read Emily Post or Miss Manners knows the importance of rape etiquette.
Not to make light of rape, rape is and will always be serious. But she has made it harder for women who have been or will be raped.
Rape happens. It is committed by those in all walks of life. The next time someone charges a well known, high profile person for a rape which actually occured, how many eyebrows will be raised?
