This comes at a funny time. Here in CA, my mechanic is a Christian from Cairo, Egypt. I just had a conversation with him about the Islamists and he admitted that the reason his family got out of Egypt when they did was because of the craziness in Egypt lately. He doesn't feel that it is safe to live there as a Jew or Christian.

I was asking him about Muslims in the U.S., and he told me that many of the black Muslim converts are PAID to convert and sometimes paid to stay in the religion thereafter. I do not know if that is true, but that is what he said. He scoffed at there being any true American Muslims.

Egypt is one of those situations where we are supporting a bad government in hopes they won't be replaced with something even worse....

Somebody else posted in this thread that born Muslims are suspicious of converts. My plumber made the point that native Muslim boys are already used to being isolated from girls and it seemed weird to him how they seemed to have no sex drive.
