"Islam is incapable of reforming itself.
Draw your own conclusions"
I hear you. I wonder - has Islam overall radicalized over the last century or have the Muslim nations just become welathier and started having more interaction with us and our allies?
The rise of Wahabbism in the mid-1800s combined with the oceanic influx of wealth from oil is largely what has powered the resurgence of the bloody, murderous death cult of Islam. Almost without exception, Islam had receded into scattered, fly-blown, poverty-stricken despotisms. They produced nothing save misery, ignorance and oppression for their populations. Once they became flush with oil revenues, they began to export their cruel despotic rule with a vengeance. That is what we see today.
They cannot be reasoned with, nor can they be appeased. Death to them all.
I wonder what the initial appeal of islam was to him. How did it sucker him in?

-That's a good question, I think an argument can be made that both things have happened, simultaneously.
I read an article to that effect, if I find it, I'll ping you to it.
Oil money has reinvigorated the threat, but Jihad has been unrelenting against us heathens for over a millennium.
It is a cancer on civilization. I doubt there is a cure, only another hoped for remission. Many many more will die first.
