I had one of those warranties once. They replaced my water heater. By the time they 'brought it up to code' it cost me more than had I just bought a water heater and replaced it myself. Watch them!
...And I believe your plumber has had way too much muslim Kool-aid. I doubt most muslims fully trust converts anyway.
