Really. Aruba has a population over 70,000. I've lived in several cities of that size. Did I know everyone there? Hardly. Heck, I lived in a town of just 5000 most of my life, and maybe knew a couple hundred people there.
There was not long ago a story posted here two scum in a fishing boat decided they felt like raping somebody on one of these islands, pulled the boat up on a beach and dragged away some beautiful rich tourist. They only caught the murderers because her cell phone was on and someone heard the whole thing. Wierd stuff happens.
I agree! I was just thinkin' when I was in college (3000 - 4000) kids I remember thinking how FEW of the graduates I'd ever SEEN much less KNEW!
I think it's understandable these kids wouldn't know each other if they were in different circles.
