In Japan , only college kids are allowed to take a cell phone to school . Of course , some kids take them anyway . But beware if you are caught with it .

I guess that I will have to learn to text message.

I did call the office to let them know that we would be picking my son up early. The reason that I called him was the fact that he was at lunch and the office would not be able to locate him until he went to his next class. I was hoping to locate him and have him to be at the hospital by the time his lunch was over.

It ended up that we weren't able to get a message to him since they took his cell phone away from him. My husband had to pick up the phone due to the "illegal phone use". If we had been able to talk for 30 seconds I would have been able to tell him to meet us at the school office in 15 minutes.
