Great story! I was hopeless at softball in HS. Whenever I even got near to catching or hitting a ball, the rest of the team cheered.
I totally hated HS PE.
Another funny, to me, is that years ago, when I was much more slender, I used to get asked if I was a runner. My reply was "Not unless my butt's on fire!" I am totally and unapologetically completely nonathletic.
