I have noticed over the past years that younger women have become more aggresive in their driving and highly likely to exceed the speed limits.
When automobile driving was a relatively new phenomenom, "woman drivers" were not very skilled at driving, lacking the mechanical abilities that men were routinely trained to have.
By the 1960s, women were not only driving in greater numbers, but they were (in my opinion), generally safer drivers than men. Women were being trained in high school driving classes, and took safety more seriously than men-a least young men.
Many women now are very aggressive drivers, though not in the percentages that men are. Progress?
