Doesn't matter if I saw him play, we're talking about HYPE here not reality. He probably will go top 5, AFTER Bush and Leinart. Uh actually no I didn't watch the Fiesta Bowl, I hate college football, which is why I talk about the hype not the reality, I wait until their NFL career to worry about the reality, the early draft is about the hype. By November most seasons there's 1 or 2 college players that start getting talked about by NFL analysts, and those guys almost always go top 5 frequently first over all. They're the hype boys and they go in the hype spots.
Wrong again? find me wrong once. You YOURSELF predicted the most hyped player of this draft will go first, if I'm wrng then YOU'RE wrong too.
dude Lienart isn't going #2. Wake up.
LOL
where did I say "most hyped"? LOL
Dare you to quote me on that.
Yes you're wrong here and you've been wrong this entire thread.
And if you REALLY want something to whine and complain about...check this mock draft out at CBS Sportsline...
http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/draft/mock
Being that I hate the way CBS covers things in sports, I don't put too much weight in it. However, for argument's sake, you'll notice that not ONE of them take a QB with the Saints.
Sorry man, you're wrong. It will pan out very very similiarly to what Mel Kiper is putting out.
Leinart is probably going #2 because he's the second most hyped player in the draft.
You said Bush is going first, the Bush Bowl proved that Bush is the most hyped player in this draft, thus you predicted that the must hyped player was going first.
LOL
find where I said most hyped.....you can't....
I'm not whining or complaining about anything, I'm just saying it how it is, the most hyped players go first barring combine meltdowns. And Dodd is a moron, anybody that thinks young is going before Leinart after his combine meltdown is a moron, before the combine sure I can see it after the combine forget about it.
I don't put ANY weight in ANYBODY's draft predictions, it's all a guessing game and anybody treating it as a science is drunk or BSing people for a paycheck (Mel I'm envisioning your wierd hair cut when I say this). Heck I don't even put weight in people's draft grades because it's just as much a guessing game as draft predictions (most graders put the Steelers 04 draft at C or less, they went 6-10 in 2003, and since that C- draft have lost 5 games and won the SB, so much for the science of the draft).
Similar to what Kiper put out now or last month? Or the month before that? Or how about the month before that? Kiper changes his opinion more often than Kerry, and really he's no better at draft predictions than anybody else, and when you go past the first 10 picks EVERYBODY SUCKS at draft predictions.
I'm going to type this slowly so you can understand it:
you said Bush will go first
Bush is the most hyped player
therefore you said the most hyped player would go first
I'm not saying you said the most hyped player by TITLE would go first, I'm saying you said the player by name who IS the most hyped would go first, which YOU DID in post 111:
"Here's how it's going to go... 1 - Reggie Bush "
That's you predicting the most hyped player in this draft would go first, and here's me quoting it.
That is a coincidence.
there is NOT ONE instance where I said the Most hyped ALWAYS goes first. That's what you were SUPPOSEDLY trying to point too.
Damned Pittspuke fans....always hearing what they want too instead of what was said ;-)
I went to USC in 1963, right after St. John, the 1st won his first Rose Bowl. The new cars parked around the athletic building made the place look like a new car lot.
This is a deep draft so there will be some good players available well into even the second round.
I suspect Mangini would like to go defense unless somehow Ferguson was still available.
It could very well fall into line that way.
Agreed. That is if they don't trade out of it.
The Steelers might get two good players.
And Joe Montana went in what? The third round?
If the draft order remains unchanged I believe you're right.
Tony Dorsett went to Pitt and had hundreds of parking tickets in his new, alumni given car that he had no intentions of paying.
Some things never change.
