The Durham County district attorney said today that the woman who accused three Duke lacrosse players of raping her at an off-campus party last month had identified at least one of them in a photo montage last week........... "There was no identification of any member of that lacrosse team until last week," the district attorney, Michael B. Nifong, said at an informational meeting today attended by more than 400 people at North Carolina Central University, where the woman was a student. He was answering a question about why no one has been arrested.

If I was the parent of ANY of these students, I'd be speed dialing John Kelly right now.
Tonight on NBC17 they said that Kim told the defense team that the girl was in the car with her the entire time, from the first 911 call until the call from the Kroger security guard and she never mentioned being attacked in any way, shape, or form.
"According to a 2002 police report, the woman, currently a 27-year-old student at North Carolina Central University, gave a taxi driver a lap dance at a Durham strip club. Subsequently, according to the report, she stole the man's car and led deputies on a high-speed chase that ended in Wake County.Apparently, the deputy thought the chase was over when the woman turned down a dead-end road near Brier Creek, but instead she tried to run over him, according to the police report. Additional information notes that her blood-alcohol level registered at more than twice the legal limit."
Clearly, this is not the type of person who would lie to police or prosecutors.
The coach and the team members need to march down to federal court yesterday and file a civil rights action against that D.A.
An important thing is whether Kim will say she was in the bathroom alone with the accuser a long time, as the defense says. Or if she will say the women were separated, and she doesn't know what happened to the accuser. It's hard to imagine Nifong going forward, with no DNA and a shady accuser, without a corroborating witness.
I have a few questions. Where is "Kim"? If the accuser was passed out on the lawn as the pictures purportedly show--who made the rape claim and when? Was it Kim, was it the boyfriend, or did the accuser sober up and suddenly remember? Did Kim witness anything? Or did she wait outside for a half hour making 911 calls? What was the alcohol level of the accuser? Could she ever be a reliable witness given her DUI's and rap sheet? After the second 911 call to Kroger's did the accuser ask to be taken to the hospital? Was an ambulance called since she had so many cuts and bruises? Did the police send her off with the boyfriend? Wouldn't that be odd if she'd claimed rape right away?
Did you see this?

I'm thinking that the defense would never say she was in the bathroom with the accuser for 27 minutes if she had not told them that when they interviewed her.
What do you think.
BTW, did you see Reverend Al will be at 610 on Sunday?
Oh, Howlin, from your keyboard to God's ears.
Lord, I hope so.
The team has to get back together. It was wrong for them to disband before any court trial.
It's amazing how far a psycho can go these days when the case he or she presents is backed up by PC orthodoxy.
Watching the replay of Brit Hume's news..he's going to do a segment on Duke--did anyone catch it earlier?
I think the 27 minutes was established from the time gap in the time stamping of the photos...no photos were taken when the girls were locked in the bathroom together.
I wanted to make sure you saw my post to candykisses:
"I honestly believe you are so invested in this story that if this girl confessed to you personally that it was all a lie, you'd look her right in the face and call her a liar."
:-)
OMG, I meant that to be private, but, oh well...........LOL.
I wonder when Ward Churchill will show up giving a multi-thousand-dollar presentation supporting the university?
Exactly, but she confirmed it to them; it's not just a guess.
It is pointless to sue someone if they have no money. It's called "the deep pockets" theory of justice.
Jenny, did you see that conference today? That town is one hair's breath away from all out riot.
One woman got right in the police chief's face and said if those 3 boys weren't in jail by 5 p.m. tonight, she was going to personally call the FBI about a HATE CRIME.
I agree 100 percent. It's a damn travesty.
I think this DA should be brought up on charges for inciting a riot.
