I imagine that they're there to serve as a deterrent, but... if you jump the fence, you take your chances.

Free the dogs!

No, they are supposed to give 1 warning bark, and then wait 15 seconds to see if the intruder leaves...

Then they are permitted to bite (not above the calves,) for a period of 5 minutes, but then must go back to their doghouses if the intruder doesnt comply.

The dogs were doing what they were trained to do....nullify the intruder....Unless there is a trainer on site shortly after the attack the dogs will continue until the threat is gone.

THIS IS WHY YOU BUY GUARD DOGS.....so you wont have to shoot the bastages.....

The dogs deserve a medal and a big marrow bone for a job well done...

"Are guard dogs suppose to kill?"

I don't know much about dogs, but I doubt it very much.

Well trained dogs are supposed to corner and contain a subject.

If that subject tries to flee or assumes a threatening posture, the dogs will attack.

Unless someone saw the situation develop or it was captured on surveillance, any attempts to ascertain what happened is only speculation.
