OK folks, Politics 101 here. Gee whiz... If you wait until May 5 it's to late. If you do it on a weekend who cares. It must be the day the Senate comes back to town. Politicans only see votes. You want to change something let them see YOU in the Street. Why do you think the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and their APOLOGIST are winning the PR war. They are on the Streets..
If you will not march then shut up. Cause you are just hot air!

My theory about why conservatives don't march is that the media trashes us. Takes photos of the worst-looking people ( my apologies)and then makes nasty comments, or totally ignores us.

The final straw was when 3000 people gathered in Crawford to counter Cindy Sheehan and were totally ignored by even Fox. All they did was take pictures of, and quote Sheehan. That was it for me.

After all, protests are a kind of theater for the media.
The media has effectively prevented conservatives from street rallies.
That's why conservatives don't march.

It hasn't bitten enough Americans in the butt, yet. And even when it does, most won't do anything. Isn't it true that only about 1/3 of the Colonists supported the Revolution of 1776? (and to think that started over a 1% tax!)

I use to think that the Free Republic members stood for something, I see now I was wrong. Apparently all we have is a bunch of whiners and do nothings that like to carp and sit on their collective butts while Rome is burning!
