Nah..I don't march. I really think the thing to do would be to try to find black support for a counter-march.

My theory about why conservatives don't march is that the media trashes us. Takes photos of the worst-looking people ( my apologies)and then makes nasty comments, or totally ignores us.

The final straw was when 3000 people gathered in Crawford to counter Cindy Sheehan and were totally ignored by even Fox. All they did was take pictures of, and quote Sheehan. That was it for me.

After all, protests are a kind of theater for the media.
The media has effectively prevented conservatives from street rallies.
That's why conservatives don't march.

Marches are a waste of time in this day and age. It might scare local politicians, but emailing/faxing/voting is what gets results in the end.

Waiting to vote in November might be to late for this issue. Something has to be done now.

They support getting my work done so we can all keep our jobs.

That is what they should be doing. They should not be sponsoring pro-amnesty marches all over the country, as some are doing tomorrow.

Thus I am emailing/faxing/calling my local/state office holders. If I lived in an area holding protests, I would be out there counter-protesting.. I cant afford to travel 1,000 miles to show my outrage.

It hasn't bitten enough Americans in the butt, yet. And even when it does, most won't do anything. Isn't it true that only about 1/3 of the Colonists supported the Revolution of 1776? (and to think that started over a 1% tax!)

Breeding my own conservative majority :-).

Seriously, though, if more English-speaking American citizens had families like mine, the nationwide picture would be much different. Numbers count!

I was afraid that this would be the response to a counter protest. A nation that can't control it's borders isn't much of a nation.

I use to think that the Free Republic members stood for something, I see now I was wrong. Apparently all we have is a bunch of whiners and do nothings that like to carp and sit on their collective butts while Rome is burning!

I agree, but don't worry ... those losers on the streets won't vote and they won't email/call their "representatives".

Spread the word to write you Reps.

Each time they get a communication it counts as 100, 150 or maybe 200 peoples voices in their region.

Like I said in my previous post... Call/EMail your Rep and Senators. I did ... and they actaully get back to you.

These loser don't vote... P Diddy didn't vote when he was 20, 25, 29, 33 ... It took this loser until he was 36 to vote.

Same goes for all these Hispanics and Liberals that act like activists.

When the voting day comes around these losers are sitting at home watching TV or too busy listening to CD by Gwen Steffani or the Black Eyed Ps.

You would do well to influence your immediate circle of friends and then all the Stay at home Moms that you know, and then the Hard working Conservatives, Etc.
