I read that and laughed too. And doesn't he sound like a crochety old bachelor? LOL

What was William Holden's path?.....alcohol?...drugs?....I don't have a clue.
To: DJ MacWoW
I think it a lot of the interview is just him BSing.
I've read stuff that Carlos, Reiko, and others have said about Kiefer and they all say he is the nicest person in the world. Bring up his kids and he turns into a big softy.

Booze. It eventually took precedent over his career and his love life. It killed him.

I think it a lot of the interview is just him BSing. A lot of what he said has been said before. Fans who have met him have said he's one of the nicest people they've ever met. But the alcohol stories are true as are the bar fights. He was in another one a few years back during 24 and had stitches that had to be covered with makeup. He also has glass in an elbow from a bar fight. And his ex-wife said they had 2 houses in Toronto because he didn't like kids clutter even though he loves his stepsons. The fan boards talk a lot about his drinking.

Oh I know the drinking is true. I've heard those stories before.

Thank you for the ping! :)

I have an article about them selling their Toronto homes. It says this:
Ms Sutherland, who describes the marriage as "a work in progress" between two best friends, said they have very different tastes when it comes to homes.
"If you walk through my house and then through Kiefers, you know why we have 2 houses" she said.
"My house is more of a family flophouse with kids running around. His is meticulous and perfect. He likes really clean, fine lines. Single men love his house".

Remind me who William Holden is. I know the name but can't recall the "who" behind it. :)

I think you'd enjoy L&O: Criminal Intent. They get too politically liberal from time to time for me to really enjoy it. I like that they added "Big" though to give us a break from Lapaglia, who apparently has been overcome by the vapors since the Bush reelection.

Logan is a traitor but Itzin deserves an Emmy for how well he has played Logan.
Absolutely agree. Itzin is great as Logan.

It's a running joke that CTU has the worst security in the world. The writers answered a question about this on the recent Rush interview and said it happens simply for a matter of plot necessity.
And, it only has Level Two Security...moles apparently don't have too much trouble with Level Two CTUs!
Sandy "Burglar" probably knows where all the Level Two sites are....

William Holden was a huge movie star in the 50's.

If I remember correctly, Vincent Dinofrio is a huge liberal.

Thanks! I knew that but for some reason I couldn't place the name with the face. I have seen several of his movies. Was he one of the actors that was on the communist blacklist during the McCarthy hearings? I believe he was extremely liberal, friends with Gregory Peck.

I've seen a lot of threads on Free Republic about this show "24." Is it any good? Or is it just another liberal claptrap show like "West Wing." Hardly that. It's definitely hard core. Jack Bauer simply must have an autographed 8 x 10 glossy of Ronald Reagan in his office.

President Logan has been an Asshat from the beginning. A more stumbling, bumbling version of Richard Nixon.
