An Oakland man is dead and another man is seriously injured after both were shot early Saturday morning outside San Francisco's Coit Tower.
Police found Juan Bauza, 27, of Oakland dead inside a car that had crashed off Telegraph Hill Boulevard, which leads up to Coit Tower.
A 20-year-old man, who had been shot multiple times, was knocking on doors in the area until someone answered and called 911.
That victim is being treated at San Francisco General Hospital for multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.
San Francisco police are looking for three or four men in their late teens or early 20s, who arrived in the parking lot around 2:30 a.m. and were drinking when they met the two victims, said police Sgt. Neville Gittens.
Police said that a conflict occurred and shots were fired. It is unclear whether both groups had guns. No arrests have been made.
Police say there is no apparent gang connection to the shootings.
Gittens said that from now until further notice there will be additional police patrols in the area.

Still trying to warm up after standing in the rain for several hours on Friday night, then having my wet feet freeze, followed by more rain! Between rain delay, game and would you believe fireworks after, got home about 1:30am. On top of all else, the Giants lost! Not a good day! ;>)
Someone mentioned "used condoms" and such at Coit Tower.....news to me! I mostly remember it as a teenage drinking spot in my day and my kids day.
The only Frisco I know is the suburb north of Dallas.

Last time I was in San Francisco was 1983! But we went to Coit Tower just for the view. Can you still go up to the top of it, do you know?

Have talked to no one who has heard the used condom theory. At night it's always been a bit of a "hangout" at night, but this is the first time I can remember hearing of a major problem.
