A massive picture of Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, so big it can be seen from space, is gracing the dusty desert outside Las Vegas.

Maxim magazine has recreated an old cover image of the sexy star on a 33-metre-by-23-metre vinyl-mesh screen to celebrate its 100th issue.

The picture, which is so big that satellites are able to photograph it from space, took nine workers more than 15 hours to build.

Asked about the huge picture Longoria said "I guess space is no longer the final frontier. I am flattered, to say the least, to be TV's Sexiest Earthling."

Of course, if these morons had checked, the Google Earth photos of any decent resolution (to show cars and such) are taken by AIRPLANES, not by satellites

Given that the picture is 33 X 23 meters, I though the resolution looked kind of high for a commercial satellite shot. Probably at least 1/2 meter, maybe less than a foot.

For everybody that has attempted to use the GPS Lat/Long coordinates I posted earlier to find the Space Orbit viewable Maxim Image Southwest of Las Vegas - it is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The reason it is no longer available is - . . . . I took it! That's my truck in the picture, ready to load it up. I've decided to put it on my wall in the garage. Now, I just need to find a color copier big enough so I can reduce the picture. :)
