how can anyone buy into a science fiction writer as religious prophet?

Because people are gullible. Hubbard was counting on that when he decided to make a religion because that's where the money is. I did NOT make that up. It's true. He mentioned the idea to other sci-fi writers of his time.

My mom's best friend became a Hubbard disciple early on....kid 60s maybe. I knew a fair amount about this junk from an early age. My mom's pal drifted off from marriages and pretty aimless.

She came from abuse from her dad who was am Army chaplain.

Many of these folks have serious issues.

They love the stare down....that is sort of their first technique they pick up...the Scientology glare.

They are moonbats...they may be right about doping kids too much like Miss Preston talks...but they are still moonbats

gullible folks missing something
