I read in another article that Scientologists believe that crying and screaming during birth can hurt the baby psychologically. As if the baby will remember it's mother screaming in pain. Also, the parents are not to talk to the baby for seven days after it's birth. And this will not cause psychological issues in the future?

Good grief.

What's he going to do when the baby comes out screaming? Stuff a sock in it's mouth?

When my daughter was two days old and the nurse was holding her I said something to the nurse and my daughter just whipped her head around to look at me. We couldn't believe it. Like the baby hasn't been hearing their voices for the last 8 months? What's a week now? Are they going to keep her from hearing other noises, too?

I wonder what they're going to do if a C-section is required?

*sigh* Hollyweird it right.
