I married my husband primarily for his sense of humor, and twenty years later I'm still laughing.

As a man, I think being able to make a woman laugh is great skill. I take pride in the fact that I can make my dear sweet wife bust out in tears laughing. It is a talent I don't ever want to lose.

Recently, Anne Bancroft died. It may have seemed odd that such an elegant, beautiful actress was married to a goofy little guy like Mel Brooks, but they had a very happy marriage for a lot of years. I loved the way she described how she felt about him:

"I love hearing his key in the door at night; I know the party's about to start."

There are worse ways to go through life. :)
