I haven't posted anything of any great importance since the almost infamous..... Am I Logged In???.
Anyways...here's my prob. For various reasons which I choose not to disclose...( essentially because I'm getting old and don't have the energy... read that to mean..... I'm getting lazy to change all my e mail contacts.)I use Netscape as my e mail address.
Recently I had to do a full System/ Restore on my comp. As I had been successful in this endeavor (which took me six days...I was passed out on the 7th)
I prided myself on this terrific accomplishment!!!
As to the prob with Vonage...let's just not go there!!
Atually.Vonage works great...but They fall down on the job after the end user refuse to accept responsability for screwing up the configuration job.
So on to the question.
Netscape...(which I know pretty much sucks)..a had a definite aspect that I should download ver 8.1...which really sucks!!!!
I was using a 7. something which was simple...yet effective. It read out at as a 7 but was actually a 6
Is it possible that anyone has any info to this situation.
I would certainly appreciate any tech info you might have.
And even if you don't...feel free to post you're rants... raves...& graphics here.
I'm confused as to what your problem is.
But I wouldn't know how to help you if I understood it.
Good luck!
I haven't the foggiest, which I know doesn't surprise anyone...but for YOU!...I'll bump the thread! :)
I'm not sure what your question was, but we agree on one thing. The new Netscape sucks. I used Netscape for everything, I hated Internet Explorer. But the New Netscape messed up my computer so bad that I finally gave up and use IE now. So why the heck did Netscape turn me from a Netscape lover to hater? I forget the details, but I know I tried deleting and re-downloading the new one several times and finally threw in the towel.
How do you use a browser as an e-mail address?
Keep me posted. I'll be in the shower.
If you figure out what this means, please tell us.
Try downloading and running NetsCape 8.1.
I've heard this story before....
No thanks. I'll stick with my IE.
I think he's trying to say: "I know you think you know what I said, but what you don't know is that what I meant is not what I said."
May have heard it from me. I have been passed out before but it didn't take me 6 days to do it.
He can't be sayin' that, because I know I don't think I know what he said, and I didn't say that I thought I knew what he said, so why would he think that I thought I knew what he said?
are you serious it took you 6 days to restore your system? now that you have it up and running you should run nortons ghost or one of the other image programs Drive Image Etc..
