They are public figures. They have opinions. They express them. We express back. Get over it, Stone.

If a famous person uses that fame to speak out on politics then they deserve political scrutiny..thats only fair.
We have a rule at work that we never discuss sex, religion or politics with customers...and I'd be very upset if my political opinions effected my job.
But if chose to start using my job to promote my politics then it would be fair to consider that as part of my job performance.

First off STONE, the media only blasts Conservative Celebs; if you're leftie loon the media loves you. Secondly, all of the leftie loon Celebs and that includes you, who have flapped their yaps are not, I repeat not intelligent, including BELCHER and BABSIE. Lastly, if main stream media journalists were any more supportive of you leftist loon Celebs it would be a GAY PORN MOVIE.

And by the same token, we have the same right to question the "intelligence" of stars :)

because intelligent stars have every right to question their leaders. Man, I'll tell y'all up front, it took me quite a while to lay off the guffaws when I read about those intelligent stars. You know, sometimes I even think they believe what these people tell them to do, too!
After regaining my composure, I was inevitably forced to think just who exactly has attacked their right to express themselves. Last I checked, the rhetoric was still flowing free and easy out of la-la-land there on the Left Coast. On the other hand, I guess this is a step up from the whining about "questioning their patriotism."

From 1967 to 1968, Stone would return to Vietnam this time as a soldier - he served fifteen months in the 25th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his service in the war.

Oliver Stone makes such lousy movies, I would not doubt the Arabs are the only ones who will fund them. Remember folks, Hollywood does not care if a movie is good or bad, they only care if somebody will put up the money to make it.
