What say you?

I'd rather see legal immigration doubled or tripled from current levels. I'd like to see legal immigration being higher than the current legal and illegal immigration combined.

Immigrants made this country great. I'd like to see it spread around the world and biased toward educated people who want to become Americans.

What would be a good number for you? Perhaps 3 million immigrants per year, 1% of our population?
Do you really think that we could assimilate these people? Or do you think that we will face a further degredation of our Anglo-American core next two the importation of an alienated educated class?
