1. Find the weakness in Florida. Go ahead. I'll wait
2. Billy Donovan has been here before. Ben Howland has not.
3. Banners don't win championships, players do Tradition is a valuable thing to have on your side in the banter between fans. But UCLA's 11 national championships won't help the Bruins one iota come tipoff Monday.
4. Florida has had the stronger tournament run
5. UCLA used up all its good karma escaping Gonzaga The Bruins' desperate scramble to score the final 11 points of the game and extricate themselves from near-certain defeat was the Rally of the Year. 6. Balance Florida has five players averaging double figures for the season. And for the postseason. And for the NCAA Tournament.
7. Layups, dunks and Lee Humphrey That's been Donovan's offensive mantra this NCAA Tournament. The Gators are pounding it inside, driving hard to the basket, getting high-percentage shots ... or kicking it to Humphrey
8. Corey Brewer: matchup trouble The 6-foot-8 Brewer has had a great Tournament, averaging 14.4 points and making 50 percent of his 3-point shots. He killed George Mason Saturday night, and he'll be a handful for UCLA as well.
9. The Bruins don't want to run with Florida
10. Florida doesn't mind grinding with the Bruins .
11. This is not a dance team mismatch Yes, UCLA's dance team is a No. 1 seed -- one of the strongest No. 1s in recent memory. Wow.
12. Scratching the 10-year title itch It's been a decade since Florida won the national title it most cares about, in football.
20. It's Florida's time It's time for the worshipers of the pointed ball to realize what can happen with the round one. Florida 65, UCLA 59.

Are you some kind of psycho? You hate Spurrier, comparing him to the hated Bobby Knight and his "personality", yet you like Knight? Oh, right, Bulldog fan.
UCLA even had John Wooden go into the hospital for added sentimental support, which helped...not at all.
If you ain't a Gator, you're GATOR BAIT my friend!!
Thanks, I hadn't seen that. Don't know how it got by me.
Yeah, thats old stuff that Roy Williams started circulating back when he was at Kansas and BIlly D outworked him in his own backyard to get Mike MIller. CAon't believe this guy repeated it. The NCAA investigated, found no wrongdoing and cleared Billy and UF.
That's why I bought a NaviGATOR!!!
It's not orange and blue though.
Breathtaking stupidity on display! He is a 6'2" guard, they don't mix it up under the nets. ON any team
Having watched the entire game very carefully I'd suggest that if the referees had stopped play every time your young traveler shuffled his feet wrong or forgot to dribble the ball, we'd still be watching it 3 days later!
Of all the experts who watched and commented on the game, the Dicke V's, Seth Davis, Clark Kellogg, Digger Phelps, none ever remotely suggested the refereeing was bad--even UCLA didn't do that. They could have called palming on Farquar or whatever his name was every time he touched the rock.
A correctly referred game would have put Florida out in the first round.
You must have been watching a different tournament than everyone else. Blaming the refs...what kind of FReeper are you? Talk about sour grapes.
I never said I disliked Spurrier or Knight. I said they don't have great personalities. As to being a Bulldog fan, you've got to be kidding.
I bleed Pirate gold, Longhorn orange and Cowboy silver.
The refs just don't catch that stuff during tournament play because stopping the flow of play hurts advertising revenues.
You use him as a character reference on this game?
Gad!
Basketball is unfortunately going the way of professional wrestling, and without as much color or excitement.
