LEWISBURG A Millheim man accused of indecent exposure and open lewdness waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday in the office of District Judge Leo S. Armbruster.
Paul S. Shreckengast, 38, was charged after an incident at 5 p.m. Jan. 21 in White Deer Township.
Police said he exposed himself to an Amish family while engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with himself. He allegedly followed the family, which was in a buggy, along the White Deer Pike from a stop in Clinton County near the Pit Stop Restaurant to the water treatment facility in White Deer Township.
According to police, Mr. Shreckengast followed the buggy, passing it, then stopping along the road while it passed and engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with himself while dressed in a purple skirt.
This happened several times on the same afternoon, police said.
Mr. Schreckengast faces similar charges for an incident on Jan. 15 near Mifflinburg when he allegedly exposed himself to a 15-year-old Amish girl. He faces a preliminary hearing before District Judge Jeffrey Mensch next month on those charges.
I'm pretty sure this was a Benny Hill skit about 30 years ago.
As a former Amish, I thought I had heard it all!
