As was the case thru the vast majority of last season, and most importantly
the post-season, the Sox have the best record in baseball once again...

There should be a law against having any team besides the Reds and their opponent opening the new MLB season.

Actually, the Reds were true class acts about the deal. Once ESPN got the baseball contract, they offered the Reds the Opening Game Sunday Night every year. But the Reds, rather than open at night and ruin the tradition of Opening DAY, declined. Or so I heard....

Who are all those guys in the Boston line-up anyway? Better fielders than the 2005 version.

Time for the Schill who beat the Yanks in his last outing of 2005 to show up and get the season started 1-0.

Woo Hoo! Happy Baseball Season 2006 Opening Day!
We have a LOT of new names to learn for our Red Sox this year. I watched parts of some of the spring training games on NESN... it's as if we have an entire new ball club...
Nice to see the return of RemDawg, Don Orsillo, Tom Caron, Dennis Eckerdsly, Joe Castiglione and Jerry Trupiano. GO SOX! :o)
