An anonymous tip Thursday morning led Border Patrol agents to a Yuma home where they found and detained 93 illegal immigrants from Mexico, the patrol said in a news release.
The home on 1st Street is a suspected drop house, where the aliens were being kept until they could be smuggled to locations in the interior of the United States, the release said. Many of aliens were women and children who said they had been in the house for two days, the patrol said.
The inside of the house was described by the patrol as sweltering and filthy, with garbage strewn about. All windows in the house were closed.
Some of the 93 aliens were found in a utility shed on the property behind the house, the patrol said.
None of the aliens were injured or required medical treatment, the patrol said.
The patrol said an anonymous caller reported the home at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Agents are investigating to identify smugglers in the group, according to the news release.
Since Oct. 1, Border Patrol agents in the Yuma Sector have apprehended 75,938 illegal aliens, the patrol said.

Sign 'em up for free health care, welfare, give their kids scholarships, give them a new condo through eminent domain...well, you get the idea.
....and give them a Mexican flag to wave at us!
Give 'em all U.S. citizenship and they'll be so grateful for the President's compassion they'll immediately register as Republicans and tell all their amigos and familias that the GOP is the party of free handouts and compassion. In fact, do this for all 25 - 35 million of 'em and the Pubbies will never lose another election.
(yeah right)
When the port of Kansas city opens up we can avoid all this. They'll be trucked all the way into the interior of the country in trucks nobody will look at till they get to Kansas city.
Goin a la ciudad de Kansas
Ciudad de Kansas aquí vengo
