This reminds me of my extremely sweet, innocent son at age two. He was "working" with his grandpa around the yard. They would work for ten minutes then stop to take break - eat and drink - together.
This was a grandpa who knew how to work to please babies...for it was just a bit that he had them on a visit. One time grandpa found a nest of rattlers in his garage and ran to get a shovel to chop off their heads. His grand baby hollered "no grandpa, don't kill the baby snakes" because the baby boy was too young to understand why we kill poisonous snakes.
Grandpa, being the man he was, took some time with the baby boy on the Internet to show him the boo-boos poisonous snakes cause people. Then it was "kill 'em grandpa! Kill 'em all."

Good story. Got to tell them young'uns to stay away from rattlers. I often wonder what the Yankee tourists think about gators and snakes down south. I have seen many of them with a cavalier attitude towards these creatures - like they won't get hurt. I think the natives treat reptiles with respect out of the danger they can cause.
